Ward Bulletin for March 10, 2019

Calgary Nativity Pageant - it's our turn!

 The Foothills Stake has the responsibility and privilege to stage the Calgary Nativity Pageant for the next 3 years (2019-2021). The Pageant will run Dec. 19-24th each year next to Heritage Park.

Volunteers will be needed throughout  December for set up and take down, security and parking, animal care/handling, acting, costuming and make up.

-Wards will be given specific assignments for parking and security. 

-Individuals will be invited to volunteer for the other roles starting mid-year. 

-Cast rehearsals will commence mid-November and are posted on the Stake Calendar. 

Please keep the Pageant in mind as you schedule activities and family events. We also encourage you to consider non-member friends, neighbors, family, and others you could invite to serve with you.

Fri. Mar. 15^th, Stake Beehive Event

6:00 – 9:00pm. Foothills Stake Center.

Sat. Mar. 16^th, Wellness & Connection Fireside,

7:00pm at the Evergreen Stake Centre; All individuals 18+ are invited to attend. Two speakers will address us that evening:

• Brother Spackman- "Normal is a setting on the Dishwasher" - A review of feelings focusing on depression. Where do they come from? What might be abnormal? What might you be able to do about them if they are impeding your enjoyment of life?
• Brother Cobb- "Turning Down the Heat"- Turning conflict into connection

There will be a short break in-between speakers with light refreshments- please bring an appetizer or treat to share. Also, please invite any friends or neighbours that come to mind. 

Thurs.Mar.21^st Single Adult  Temple Night

7:00pm. Meet and preform baptisms or an endowment. Share or swap names your fellow members.
